Hello Aaron,
I'm Mel Taylor, The Peace Alliance 33rd Congressional District Team Leader (L.A., Calif.) I just recently spoke with Rena in Washington State who is a very motivation peace worker who asked that I assist with this call in drive - calling our House of Representives Nationwide. I am so pleased to see this idea finally come to the point that legislation is occuring. I have waited for almost 35 years to see concrete steps taken in this direction. I am honored to have the opportunity to encourage our Representatives to deeply investigate this Bill and support the establishment of a US Department of Peace in my lifetime.
